Job Title: Head of Design - Hospitality / Hotel Industry.

Location: Hyderabad (Nanakramguda).

Role Purpose:

The Head of Design Hospitality will lead the end-to-end architectural, interior, and experiential design strategy for Ridhira Groups hospitality portfolio, including resorts, retreats, wellness destinations, hotels, and F&B spaces.

The role ensures that all designs align with brand positioning, guest experience standards, operational efficiency, and project budgets, while delivering world-class hospitality environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Design Leadership & Strategy:

- Define and drive the overall design vision for hospitality and hotel projects across Ridhira Group.

- Translate brand philosophy into guest-centric, experiential design concepts.

- Establish hospitality design standards, brand guidelines, and design SOPs.

Project Design Management:

- Lead design from concept to handover, including master planning, architecture, interiors, FF&E, and signage.

- Coordinate with external architects, interior designers, consultants, and operators.

- Ensure design deliverables meet hospitality operational requirements (back-of-house, service flows, safety, compliance).

Hospitality & Operations Integration:

- Work closely with Operations, Pre-Opening, F&B, Wellness, and Spa teams to ensure functional and efficient layouts.

- Optimize designs for guest flow, staff efficiency, and lifecycle maintenance.

- Incorporate sustainability, wellness, and local contextual design elements.

Cost, Quality & Timelines:

- Control design costs through value engineering without compromising guest experience.

- Review BOQs, material selections, mock-ups, and sample approvals.

- Ensure adherence to timelines and quality benchmarks.

Team & Stakeholder Management:

- Lead and mentor internal design teams (Architects, Interior Designers, 3D Visualizers).

- Present concepts and progress updates to MD, leadership team, and investors.

- Collaborate with Project, Procurement, and Finance teams for smooth execution.

Key Projects Exposure:

- Luxury resorts & retreats.

- Wellness & spa destinations.

- Boutique hotels.

- F&B outlets and experiential spaces.

- Hospitality-led mixed-use developments.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelors / Masters degree in Architecture or Interior Design.

- 15-20+ years of experience, with minimum 8-10 years in hospitality/hotel design.

- Strong experience in pre-opening hotel projects is mandatory.

- Exposure to luxury, lifestyle, or wellness hospitality projects preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

- Strong hospitality design sensibility and operational understanding.

- Expertise in guest experience design and brand storytelling.

- Excellent stakeholder and consultant management skills.

- Commercial acumen and cost control experience.

- Proficiency in design tools (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Adobe Suite).
