Position Overview
The Pan India CSD & CPC Sales Manager will be responsible for driving nationwide sales growth within the CSD (Canteen Stores Department) and CPC (Central Police Canteens / Forces) channels.
This role requires strong experience in institutional sales, strategic planning, relationship management, and driving profitability across regions.
The ideal candidate will work independently, manage a high-performing sales team, and ensure consistent brand visibility and product availability across all CSD/CPC outlets in India.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Drive and expand sales in the CSD/CPC channels across India through the existing sales team and channel partners.
- Identify new business opportunities, onboard new outlets, and enhance institutional penetration.
- Ensure effective execution of sales strategies, promotions, and channel initiatives.
Inventory & Merchandising Management
- Oversee stock levels at various CSD/CPC outlets to ensure uninterrupted product availability.
- Manage product display, shelf presence, and merchandising standards across all touchpoints.
- Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of stock.
P&L & Performance Management
- Manage the P&L for the CSD/CPC division and implement action plans to maintain profitability.
- Track sales KPIs, analyze performance, and develop strategies to improve output across regions.
Market Analysis & Branding
- Conduct market share analysis and monitor competitor activities in the institutional channel.
- Ensure brand visibility, compliance with CSD/CPC guidelines, and strong representation of the RICO brand.
Stakeholder & Team Management
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to confirm material dispatch and order fulfilment.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team aligned to Pan India targets.
- Build strong relationships with key CSD/CPC authorities and procurement bodies.
Qualifications & Skills Required
Education: Any Graduate (MBA preferred but not mandatory).
Experience: 6 - 10 years in CSD (Defence Canteen Stores Department) or CPC (Central Police Forces) institutional sales.
- Proven ability to manage Pan India accounts and lead sales teams.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel extensively across assigned regions.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
Mumbai-based candidates preferred
