- Minimum qualification: CA, CMA with 8-10 years of relevant experience in industry (mainly manufacturing sector)

- Knowledge of GST, Customs, Foreign trade policy or any other laws related to Indirect taxes.

- Strong technical knowledge along with learning mindset to keep one self-abreast with latest developments in the area.

- Strong interpersonal/communication skills to deal with consultants and authorities

- Strong, analytical, drafting and negotiating skills.

- Proficient in Microsoft office with good skills in Excel, PowerPoint and complex spreadsheets.

About the job:

We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven, and self-motivated Chartered Accountant or CMA with proven expertise in Indirect Tax to manage our Indirect Tax function and ensure precise compliance with applicable regulations on a full-time basis.

This position will be based at our Gurugram office.

Your tasks will include:

- Managing all indirect tax processes and ensure compliance with GST law. Responsibilities will include overseeing proper tax filing and maintaining accurate tax documents in relation to indirect tax compliances.

- To review and validate tax calculations and workings to ensure their accuracy. Timely and accurate filing of GST returns will be a key responsibility, aiming to avoid any potential compliance issues (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-6, ITC-04 and GSTR-9/9C).

- To proactively manage Input Tax Credit (ITC) reconciliation, ensuring that records are accurate and up-to-date.

- Identify and gather required information to avail benefits available under FTP and Customs.

- Input tax credit optimization through filing of GST refund applications and obtaining swift approvals from GST department.

- Handling GST investigations, responding to notices, and ensure timely and accurate submissions.

- Handling litigations at appellate level related to GST, Customs, VAT/CST & Service Tax Department.

- Collaboration with statutory auditors to provide required documentation and information to ensure smooth audit process.

- Collaborating with internal teams, business units and external advisors to resolve tax-related queries and support business transactions from indirect tax perspective

- Maintain updated knowledge of tax laws, and manage relationships with external auditors and consultants.

- Departments heads (Finance, Sales; production; SCM, Procurement, Operations, HR, Marketing, Order management team etc.)

- Global Tax Team

- Head of Taxation
