
Role Overview
RheinBr- cke is seeking an accomplished ERP Project Manager to oversee the end-to-end delivery of Epicor ERP implementation projects. This leadership role requires strong project governance, client engagement, and cross-functional team management skills to ensure successful execution of ERP programs across diverse business functions. The ideal candidate will combine strategic oversight with hands-on delivery expertise to meet business and technology objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Leadership & Governance
- Own overall responsibility for planning, execution, and delivery of ERP implementation projects within agreed scope, timelines, and budget.
- Establish and manage project governance structures, including steering committees, sponsor reviews, and status reporting to senior stakeholders.
- Drive adherence to implementation methodologies and industry best practices to ensure predictable and high-quality outcomes.
2. Delivery Management
- Oversee the execution of ERP solutions across business domains including Finance, Procurement, Sales, Inventory, Logistics, Manufacturing, HR, and Payroll.
- Manage critical implementation phases such as requirement gathering, solution design, data migration, integrations, testing, training, and go-live.
- Control project scope, mitigate risks, and manage change requests to maintain alignment with business goals.
- Monitor key performance indicators, budget utilization, and progress against milestones.
3. Stakeholder & Client Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring strong relationships and high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Facilitate communication across technical, functional, and executive stakeholders.
- Present project status, risk assessments, and recommendations to leadership and governance bodies.
4. Team Leadership & Resource Management
- Lead and mentor cross-functional project teams, including internal resources and third-party vendors.
- Allocate and optimize resources to ensure effective delivery and productivity.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture across distributed teams and multiple time zones.
5. Risk & Quality Assurance
- Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement contingency plans.
- Maintain oversight of quality standards to ensure compliance with project objectives and client expectations.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years experience managing ERP implementation projects; prior Epicor ERP exposure is a significant advantage.
- Strong understanding of ERP technologies and business process domains; experience in both on-premise and cloud ERP environments preferred.
- Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams, vendor relationships, and geographically dispersed resources.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a focus on delivery excellence.
