Role Overview:
The Supply Chain & Fulfilment Manager will own end-to-end backend operations, ensuring seamless vendor onboarding, inventory availability, cost-efficient logistics, and reliable last-mile delivery. The role is critical to driving operational excellence and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.
Key Responsibilities / KRAs:
- Own end-to-end fulfilment operations including order processing, dispatch, returns, and RTO management.
- Onboard, manage, and evaluate vendors covering pricing, SLAs, inventory readiness, and performance.
- Coordinate with courier and logistics partners to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
- Monitor inventory levels and proactively flag supply risks and demand gaps.
- Drive continuous improvement in fulfilment workflows and operational processes.
- Optimize logistics costs, delivery timelines, and service-level performance.
- Act as the central operations bridge between vendors, warehouse, logistics partners, and customer support.
- Track fulfilment KPIs and resolve operational bottlenecks impacting customer experience.
- Ensure smooth peak-period operations and scalable fulfilment readiness.
- Own vendor and logistics performance reviews and corrective action plans.
Required Skills & Expertise:
- Strong experience in supply chain, fulfilment, or operations within e-commerce or D2C businesses.
- Proven vendor management and contract negotiation capabilities.
- Hands-on experience working with courier aggregators and logistics partners.
- Strong understanding of inventory planning, warehousing, and last-mile delivery.
- Ability to solve operational issues with a structured, data-driven approach.
- Experience in managing returns, RTOs, and reverse logistics.
- Strong process orientation with a continuous improvement mindset.
- High ownership attitude with attention to operational detail.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in fast-growth environments.
