Description:
Role Overview.
- As the Revenue Cycle Leader, you will be responsible for leading and scaling the Prior Authorization (PA) operations team.
- Youll ensure that all patient authorizations are processed accurately and efficiently, helping the business maintain smooth cash flow and patient satisfaction.
- Youll work directly with the Founder, have equity in the company, and be part of a fast-track growth journey in a high-impact leadership role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Prior Authorization Operations: Oversee the end-to-end PA process ensuring timely and accurate submission, tracking, and follow-up with insurance companies.
- Team Management: Build, train, and mentor a team of Prior Authorization Specialists, ensuring productivity and process excellence.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor key metrics such as turnaround time, approval rates, and claim accuracy to drive operational efficiency.
- Process Optimization: Identify gaps and implement process improvements, automation, and best practices to scale operations effectively.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with U.S.-based teams, including providers, billing, and customer success, to resolve authorization and payment issues.
- Leadership & Ownership: Take full ownership of results, ensure compliance with company policies, and build a high-performing team culture.
- Strategic Growth: Collaborate with leadership to define growth roadmaps, hiring plans, and technology adoption for the PA function.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in Prior Authorization Operations (mandatory).
- Leadership Skills: Prior team management experience preferred - ability to lead, motivate, and scale teams.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of U.S. healthcare systems, insurance workflows, and revenue cycle management.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret performance data and take data-driven decisions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal English communication; comfortable liaising with U.S. based stakeholders.
- Work Location: Open to working from our Bangalore office.
