
Key Responsibilities:
Business Analysis:
- Gather, analyze, validate, and document business, functional, and technical requirements from clients and business stakeholders.
- Conduct requirement elicitation workshops, stakeholder interviews, brainstorming sessions, and business discussions.
- Prepare comprehensive Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), Software Requirement Specifications (SRS), User Stories, Use Cases, Acceptance Criteria, and Functional Specifications.
- Analyze existing business processes and identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.
- Create business process workflows, process maps, wireframes, and functional flow diagrams.
- Translate business requirements into clear and actionable functional requirements for development teams.
- Manage requirement traceability throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Evaluate change requests, perform impact analysis, and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Ensure functional requirements align with business goals and product strategy.
Stakeholder & Client Management:
- Work closely with clients, business users, product owners, and internal technical teams to understand business objectives.
- Facilitate requirement gathering sessions, solution walkthroughs, and product demonstrations.
- Communicate business requirements clearly to development and QA teams.
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and engineering teams during the project lifecycle.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders through effective communication.
- Present functional solutions and obtain stakeholder approvals for business requirements.
Agile Business Analysis:
- Collaborate with Product Owners to refine and prioritize product backlogs.
- Prepare detailed user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria.
- Participate in Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Clarify business requirements throughout sprint execution.
- Support Agile teams by ensuring business priorities are accurately reflected in sprint deliverables.
- Assist in backlog grooming and feature prioritization.
Solution Analysis:
- Perform feasibility studies and gap analysis for new business requirements.
- Analyze functional impacts of proposed system enhancements.
- Work closely with architects and developers to validate technical feasibility.
- Understand application workflows, business rules, integrations, and system dependencies.
- Support solution design discussions from a functional perspective.
- Recommend process optimization and system enhancement opportunities.
Testing & User Acceptance:
- Prepare UAT scenarios, business test cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business users.
- Validate developed features against documented requirements.
- Review defects, prioritize business issues, and support resolution.
- Ensure delivered applications satisfy business expectations before production release.
- Support post-implementation validation and production issue analysis.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Prepare detailed functional documentation and process documentation.
- Maintain business requirement repositories and project documentation.
- Create workflow diagrams, use case diagrams, and functional process documentation.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and business analysis artifacts.
- Ensure documentation remains updated throughout the project lifecycle.

Preferred Experience:
- 4-6 years of experience as a Business Analyst in software development projects.
- Experience working in IT Services, SaaS, ERP, CRM, HRMS, FinTech, Healthcare, or custom software development environments.
- Strong understanding of software application development and Agile delivery models.
- Experience working with cross-functional engineering and product teams.
- Exposure to enterprise applications and digital transformation initiatives is an advantage.
