Retail Space Design Manager

Role Overview:

They looking for an experienced professional to lead retail store design and execution across multiple locations. This role requires strong technical expertise in store planning, vendor management skills, and the ability to manage end-to-end execution of retail layouts. The candidate will be responsible for store design, visual merchandising execution, and operational coordination including vendor management and store audits.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Store Design & Technical Execution

- Lead end-to-end retail store design including layout planning and space optimization.

- Develop and review technical drawings in coordination with design agencies.

- Work closely with external agencies for store design development and execution.

- Identify and onboard vendors for store fit-outs and execution work.

- Ensure projects are delivered within defined timelines and budgets.

- Oversee execution of new store setups across multiple cities.

2. Visual Merchandising

- Drive visual merchandising concepts including window displays, fixtures, and in-store branding.

- Design and implement VM kits that can be replicated across stores.

- Ensure consistency of brand identity across all retail locations.

- Coordinate with design teams for creative adaptations based on store formats.

- Monitor VM execution quality across stores.

3. Operations & Vendor Management

- Manage vendor relationships including negotiation, execution, and performance tracking.

- Provide detailed briefs to vendors and agencies for execution work.

- Travel to different cities for store visits, audits, and material coordination.

- Conduct store audits to ensure design and VM standards are maintained.

- Coordinate procurement of materials required for store setups.

- Manage project timelines and ensure adherence to execution schedules.

4. Team Management

- Lead and manage small team (design, procurement, and audit support).

- Provide direction and ensure smooth coordination between internal and external stakeholders.
