Retail Sales Head - Channel & Projects - Bath Fittings

Position: Regional Head - Channel & Projects

Location: Mumbai

Reporting To: National Sales Head / Business Head

Key Responsibilities:

Channel Management:

- Lead and drive the regional channel business (Distributors/Dealers/Retail) to achieve sales targets.

- Appoint, nurture, and develop channel partners as per company norms.

- Ensure healthy ROI and regular engagement with channel partners.

- Monitor secondary sales, stock management, and collections.

- Conduct regular market visits, channel partner reviews, and training.

Projects Business Development:

- Drive project sales across Builders, Architects, Consultants, and Contractors.

- Build a strong network with key influencers and decision-makers in the project ecosystem.

- Identify project opportunities, generate leads, and ensure timely conversion.

- Ensure specification, approval, and execution of products in large-scale projects.

- Coordinate with internal teams for pricing, technical support, and execution.

Team Leadership & Management:

- Lead a team of Area Sales Managers / Sales Executives for both Channel and Projects.

- Set clear goals, review performance, and ensure capability building of the team.

- Mentor the team for relationship building and business development.

Business Planning & Reporting:

- Develop and execute the regional business plan aligned with organizational objectives.

- Track market intelligence, competition activities, pricing trends, and customer feedback.

- Ensure timely reporting on sales, collections, and market activities.

- Work closely with HO for supply chain, marketing, and customer support functions.

Candidate Profile:

- Graduate/Postgraduate in Business Management or related field.

- 10-15 years of experience in Channel Sales & Project Sales within Building Materials, Plumbing, Bathware, or Allied Industry.

- Proven leadership skills with a track record of handling a large team.

- Strong business acumen, networking, and negotiation skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- High result orientation with customer-centric approach.
