Our client, a prominent lifestyle brand led by alumni of IIT, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Retail Planner to join their team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in merchandising, planning, and store operations, with a proven track record of reducing costs and improving efficiency. Responsibilities: - Utilize expertise in inventory management to maintain optimal stock levels, minimize waste, and manage disposal of obsolete item. - Implement cost-saving measures in materials, procurement, and logistics, contributing to increased profitability. - Oversee the performance of assigned personnel in stores, including task assignment, evaluation, and performance management. - Monitor the receipt, inspection, storage, cataloguing, and distribution of stock commodities, effectively managing the supply chain. - Collaborate with Visual Merchandising (VM) for store layouts, optimizing visual presentation and product placement. - Analyze sales data to improve store performance and satisfaction. - Allocate new products based on sales performance and store-specific metrics. - Plan and allocate resources for new store openings according to store layouts and sales projections while maintaining vendor relationships for timely supplies. - Manage the preparation of End-of-Season Sale (EOSS) files for stores & participate in store audits for quality and operational guidelines. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus. - Must have offline retail planning exposure. - Proven experience in inventory management, assortment planning, and cost reduction initiatives.
