Looking for a dynamic and growth-oriented Retail Head to lead and scale the Retail, Digital & Classified revenue portfolio across 12 Printing Centers for my client. The role will be responsible for designing and executing a robust retail strategy, driving revenue growth, strengthening market penetration, and building high-performance teams across centers.
This position will be stationed at our Head Office in Kanpur and will involve regular travel to Printing Centers to ensure strategic alignment, execution excellence, and business expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Retail Strategy & Revenue Growth:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive retail growth strategy across all Printing Centers.
- Drive revenue from Retail, Retail Digital & Classified segments.
- Identify new revenue streams and cross-selling opportunities.
- Monitor market trends, competition, and customer behavior to enhance positioning.
2. Digital & Classified Business Expansion:
- Strengthen digital monetization strategy aligned with retail business.
- Build structured classified sales frameworks.
- Drive integration of print + digital solutions for clients.
- Improve digital adoption across centers.
3. Centre Performance Management:
- Set clear targets and KPIs for each Printing Centre.
- Conduct periodic performance reviews and business audits.
- Identify performance gaps and implement corrective measures.
- Standardize processes and best practices across centers.
4. Team Leadership & Capability Building:
- Mentor and guide retail teams across locations.
- Build a performance-driven and accountability-oriented culture.
- Conduct regular review meetings and strategy workshops.
- Develop succession pipeline and talent capability.
5. Stakeholder & Client Management:
- Build strong relationships with key retail advertisers and partners.
- Collaborate closely with AD Heads for business alignment.
- Drive large-ticket deals and strategic partnerships.
6. Travel & Market Immersion:
- Travel frequently to Printing centers to ensure on-ground strategy execution.
- Conduct field visits for key accounts and team engagement.
- Ensure local market realities are incorporated into central strategy.
Key Deliverables:
- Sustained Retail revenue growth across 12 Printing centers.
- Enhanced Digital & Classified contribution to overall revenue.
- Standardized retail processes across centers.
- Improved team productivity and performance ratios.
- Increased market share in retail category.
Eligibility & Experience:
- 12-15 years of experience in Retail business - Radio/Print.
- Strong exposure to Print + Digital integrated sales.
- Proven track record of multi-location revenue management.
- Experience in classified business will be an added advantage.
- Strong strategic thinking and execution capabilities.

Two alternate Saturdays are week offs.
