Retail Head - Multi-Unit Retail/Franchise Business

Role Overview

The Retail Head will be responsible for leading and managing end-to-end retail functions across multiple departments including Business Development, Projects, Operations, and Supply Chain Management. The role requires a strategic leader who can drive franchise expansion, ensure seamless store launches, maintain operational excellence, and manage supply chain efficiency across all outlets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development (Franchisee Growth & Lead Generation)

- Drive franchise expansion strategy across target markets

- Lead and manage the BD team for franchise acquisition

- Develop and execute lead generation initiatives

- Build strong relationships with prospective franchise partners

- Ensure closure of franchise deals in alignment with business goals

2. Projects (New Store Launch & Setup)

- Oversee end-to-end project execution for new store openings

- Ensure timely delivery of stores as per defined timelines

- Maintain brand standards and store design compliance

- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders (vendors, contractors, franchisees)

- Monitor project budgets and cost efficiency

3. Operations (Retail Store Management)

- Manage daily operations of all existing stores

- Ensure adherence to SOPs, quality standards, and customer satisfaction

- Monitor store performance, revenue, and operational KPIs

- Implement process improvements for efficiency and scalability

- Handle escalations and ensure smooth store functioning

4. Supply Chain Management (SCM)

- Oversee end-to-end SCM for CAPEX and OPEX requirements

- Ensure timely procurement and inventory management across stores

- Develop vendor relationships and negotiate cost-effective deals

- Maintain supply consistency for smooth store operations

- Optimize logistics and reduce operational costs

Key Requirements

- Proven experience in retail leadership roles (preferably multi-unit retail or franchise business)

- Strong exposure to franchise development, operations, and project management

- Experience in handling supply chain and vendor management

- Excellent leadership and team management skills

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making ability

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment

Preferred Qualifications

- MBA or equivalent qualification preferred

- Experience in laundry, QSR, or retail chain operations will be an added advantage
