We are a fast-growing, well-funded D2C bakery brand redefining the premium bakery and fresh food experience in India. With strong brand recall and an expanding retail footprint, we are looking to onboard a seasoned retail leader to drive national expansion and operational excellence.

Role Overview:

The Head of Retail will be responsible for leading and scaling the brands offline retail operations across India. This role requires strong expertise in retail expansion, store operations, P&L ownership, and multi-city team management within the bakery or fresh food category.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead pan-India retail expansion strategy including new store launches and market entry planning

- Drive store-level profitability, revenue growth, and unit economics

- Own end-to-end retail P&L across cities

- Standardize and implement SOPs to ensure operational consistency and quality control

- Optimize inventory management, wastage control, and supply coordination

- Drive footfall conversion, customer experience, and repeat business

- Build, mentor, and manage regional and city-level retail teams

- Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and product teams to ensure seamless execution

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- 7 to 15 years of experience in retail leadership roles

- Mandatory experience in bakery division, QSR, food retail, or premium fresh food brands

- Proven track record of multi-city retail expansion

- Strong understanding of retail unit economics and store-level P&L

- Experience managing multiple outlets across geographies

- Operations-focused, execution-driven, and highly ownership-oriented

- Comfortable in high-growth, fast-paced consumer brand environments
