Role Overview:
As a Senior Vice President - Stressed Asset Advisory, you will lead and manage complex stressed asset engagements, providing strategic advisory services to clients on debt restructuring, resolution strategies, and turnaround plans. You will work closely with senior management, client stakeholders, and internal teams to deliver innovative and effective solutions, driving successful outcomes for our clients and contributing to the firm's growth and reputation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage end-to-end stressed asset advisory engagements, ensuring timely and successful project delivery for clients.
- Develop and implement comprehensive debt restructuring plans, considering various stakeholder interests and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis and due diligence to assess the viability of distressed businesses and identify potential turnaround opportunities.
- Advise clients on optimal resolution strategies, including debt restructuring, asset sales, and insolvency proceedings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders, including senior management, lenders, and investors.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Contribute to business development efforts by identifying and pursuing new opportunities in the stressed asset space.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in stressed asset resolution.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex debt restructuring and stressed asset resolution engagements.
- Strong understanding of financial analysis, valuation, and due diligence techniques.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Experience in negotiating and structuring complex financial transactions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CA preferred.
- 7-15 years of relevant experience in stressed assets, debt restructuring, or investment banking.
