Research Editor - Institutional Equity Research Reports

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Editor to join our newly established Institutional Equity Research team. This role involves editing a wide range of research and analytical reports, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and adherence to company style guides and industry standards. This is an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in shaping the quality of institutional equity research for a growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide support across various divisions by assisting with research and reports related to industries, macroeconomics, equity and mutual funds, credit ratings, and due diligence.

- Edit documents to ensure they are clear, concise, and accurate, maintaining high standards of language and grammar.

- Ensure all deliverables meet style guidelines, are error-free, and visually clear, including reviewing charts and tables.

- Edit reports efficiently, meeting tight deadlines while maintaining high quality.

- Summarize complex research and analysis for concise and impactful communication in corporate or external publications.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Economics, or related field.

- Minimum of 4 years of experience in editing institutional equity research reports

- Strong understanding of equity research, macroeconomics, financial markets, and corporate finance.

- Excellent command of grammar, punctuation, and style with a keen eye for detail.

- Proficiency in editing reports and presentations using MS Office, particularly Word and PowerPoint.

- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with analysts and other team members.
