Location: Mumbai

Role Overview:

Conduct equity research on companies in the automobile and auto ancillary sectors. Analyze industry trends, evaluate company fundamentals, build financial models, and provide actionable investment recommendations to support the insurance companys portfolio management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Present research insights and recommendations to the investment committee.

- Monitor auto sector portfolio and track performance of recommendations.

- Interact with company management, industry experts, and sell-side analysts.

- Attend earnings calls, analyst meetings, industry conferences, and investor briefings.

- Ensure research complies with regulatory guidelines and internal investment policies.

- Maintain documentation and audit trails for reports and recommendations.

Qualifications & Experience:

- MBA/PGDM in Finance; CFA/CA preferred.

- Minimum 5 years in equity research, ideally covering auto/auto ancillary sectors.

- Experience in buy-side research, asset management, insurance investment, or brokerage research preferred.

Skills:

- Strong financial modeling and valuation capabilities.

- Deep knowledge of automobile industry dynamics.

- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Reuters).

- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and presentation skills.
