Job Description
Sitting within the Fixed Income department, the Corporate Credit Research team is a global organization with team members across major financial hubs worldwide, including the US, Europe, Asia, and India
Research analysts and associates play a key role in identifying and analyzing market inefficiencies and opportunities, working closely with portfolio managers to translate the most attractive opportunities into appropriate risk exposures in client portfolios. Analysts specialize by market segment (Investment Grade, High Yield, and Emerging Markets) and collaborate closely across teams to leverage their industry knowledge and specialized credit skills across all fixed income strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Research & Diligence:
- Handle all aspects of research and diligence of companies, including financial modeling, as well as company, industry, ESG, and covenant analysis.
Market Monitoring:
- Remain current on industry news, trends, and controversies across assigned coverage sectors.
Investment Briefings:
- Provide relevant updates and presentations to the investment teams regarding new issue analysis and credit updates.
Credit Evaluation:
- Develop an independent view of an issuer and its ratings, leveraging the firm's proprietary ratings framework.
Sector Coverage:
- Provide comprehensive analysis across performing and distressed credits within assigned sectors.
Network Building:
- Develop and maintain a strong network of company sponsor, sell-side, and buy-side contacts.

Qualifications, Experience, & Education
Education:
- BS/UG degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
Technical Skills:
- Deep understanding of financial statement modeling with strong analytical and quantitative skills demonstrated through an excellent academic and professional record.
Business Acumen:
- Ability to think broadly about the prospects of a business and how those dynamics impact future value.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a meticulous attention to detail.

- A relentless drive with a genuine passion for research; ability to work exceptionally well both independently and as part of a global team
