Research Analyst

This role requires individuals to contribute to the strategic growth of the organization by delivering high-impact research, data-driven insights, and internal thought leadership content that informs private equity and venture capital investment decisions. This role aims to bridge deep sectoral intelligence with market analytics by leveraging quantitative analysis, niche market research, and advanced data visualization tools to support the firm's deal evaluation, ecosystem mapping, and portfolio strategy.

Key Responsibilities

1.Investment Data Analysis:

- Analyze and interpret investment data to identify key trends, emerging opportunities, and potential risks in the PE/VC markets.

- Perform both quantitative and qualitative analyses to support data- driven investment strategies and recommendations.

2.Market & Ecosystem Research

- Conduct focused, niche market research to uncover deeper insights into sector-specific themes.

- Scale and enhance existing market reports and trend analyses to strengthen ecosystem understanding.

- Provide contextual insights on market conditions and factors impacting portfolio performance.

3.Data Visualization

- Create clear, intuitive, and impactful data visualizations using tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.

- Present complex investment and market data in an accessible format for a range of internal stakeholders.

4.Reporting, Presentation & Thought

- Prepare comprehensive investment reports, sector briefs, and presentations that distill key insights, portfolio implications, and PE/VC market developments.

- Create internal thought leadership content by analyzing investment trends, emerging sectors, deal activity, and valuation movements-translating these into actionable insight decks, strategic memos, and trend summaries for internal knowledge sharing and decision support.

5.Data-Driven Insight Generation

- Ensure all materials are data-backed, forward-looking, and aligned with the needs of investment committees, partners, and strategy teams.

6. Data-Driven Insight Generation

- Use a combination of research, analysis, and visualization to uncover actionable insights.

- Support investment strategies by surfacing relevant patterns and benchmarking opportunities across sectors.
