Reporting & Compliance ( CA )

About the Role:

We are looking for a qualified finance professional to manage financial reporting, compliance, reconciliations, and month-end closure activities for a fast-paced e-commerce business. The role requires strong exposure to financial reporting, audit coordination, MIS, statutory compliance, and process controls in a dynamic, high-volume transaction environment.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in financial reporting, Ind AS / IFRS compliance, reconciliations, audits, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Closure

- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.

- Prepare standalone financial statements and schedules as per Ind AS / IFRS.

- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheet schedules, and MIS reports.

- Perform variance analysis and present financial insights to management.

- Handle GL scrutiny, journal entry reviews, accruals, provisions, prepaid expenses, and reconciliations.

- Ensure accuracy of revenue accounting, receivables accounting, and intercompany transactions.

Compliance & Controls

- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, and internal financial controls.

- Manage GST compliances including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, reconciliations, and related reporting.

- Coordinate with auditors for statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits.

- Support SOX / IFC compliance and ensure adherence to internal control frameworks.

- Monitor TDS compliance, statutory payments, and regulatory reporting requirements.

Reconciliation & MIS

- Perform bank, vendor, customer, and intercompany reconciliations.

- Prepare periodic MIS reports and dashboards for leadership review.

- Monitor collection accounting, debtor ageing, and outstanding analysis.

- Support business teams with financial data validation and reporting requirements.

Process Improvement & Automation

- Drive process improvements in reporting and compliance workflows.

- Work closely with ERP systems and reporting tools for automation and efficiency enhancement.

- Support implementation of finance transformation initiatives and reporting tools.

Stakeholder Management

- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, business finance teams, and operations teams.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, AP, AR, and controllership.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Qualified CA with 5-8 years of experience in Financial Reporting, Compliance, or Controllership roles.

- Prior experience in e-commerce, internet, retail, fintech, or high transaction-volume industries preferred.

- Strong understanding of Ind AS, IFRS, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.

- Experience in handling audits, reconciliations, and month-end closures.

- Hands-on exposure to GST, TDS, and compliance reporting.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Proficiency in ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, Netsuite, or similar platforms.

- Advanced MS Excel and MIS reporting skills preferred.
