
Key Responsibilities:
1. RPC Planning & Operations:
- Own daily and weekly RPC production planning in line with demand.
- Ensure readiness of machines, materials, and manpower.
- Drive adherence to plan and manage deviations proactively.
2. SOP & Process Management:
- Develop, implement, and sustain standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure process standardisation across locations.
- Maintain compliance with FSSAI, BRC, hygiene, and safety norms.
3. Cost & Productivity:
- Achieve and improve Packet Per Minute (PPM) cost.
- Drive productivity through line balancing, layout optimisation, and uptime improvement.
- Reduce wastage, rework, and inefficiencies.
4. RPC Share Growth:
- Increase RPC share in packed staples through capacity and capability enhancement.
- Support private label expansion, new SKUs, and flexible pack sizes.
- Reduce dependency on external packers.
5. Manpower Management:
- Plan and manage contractual and permanent manpower.
- Improve labour productivity through training and multi-skilling.
- Ensure statutory and labour compliance.
6. Quality, Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure quality output with correct weights and packaging integrity.
- Drive audit readiness and closure of observations.
- Maintain a safe working environment with zero major incidents.
7. Stakeholder Coordination:
- Work closely with Category, Sourcing, QA, Supply Chain, and Finance teams.
- Provide regular MIS, productivity reports, and performance dashboards.
