Job Description:
Lead - Business Analysis Function
- We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead the Business Analysis function and drive digital strategy across our renewable energy portfolio.
- This role will be instrumental in aligning business needs with technology solutions, identifying strategic opportunities, and enabling data-driven decision-making.
- The ideal candidate will bring deep domain expertise, strong leadership, and a consultative mindset to influence digital transformation across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Business Alignment:
- Lead the business analysis function across renewable energy verticals including solar, wind, hydro, storage, round-the-clock power, and power trading.
- Partner with business heads to understand strategic priorities, operational challenges, and market dynamics.
- Translate business needs into digital initiatives and technology roadmaps.
Digital Solutioning & Architecture:
- Oversee the design and delivery of digital solutions including AI/ML models, analytics platforms, and enterprise applications.
- TO-BE process design considering user persona and needs.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, scalability, and regulatory compliance.
- Establish Results delivery office governance to track and capture committed value/outcomes.
Stakeholder Engagement & Governance:
- Act as a key interface between business, IT, and external partners.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to build business case and own due-diligence process.
- Drive stakeholder alignment, change management, and adoption of digital solutions.
- Promote strong data governance and adherence to SOPs across all digital initiatives.
- Leverage technology expertise from Center of Excellence and Partners to build solutions.
Use Case Development & Innovation:
- Identify and prioritize high-impact use cases across the renewable energy value chain.
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that improve efficiency, forecasting, and market responsiveness.
- End to end process enablement including downstream impact, systems and reporting needs.
Market Intelligence & Policy Monitoring:
- Stay abreast of policy changes in power markets and assess their implications for business and digital strategy.
- Provide strategic insights to leadership on emerging technologies and market trends.
Team Leadership & Capability Building:
- Build and mentor a high-performing team of business analysts and digital strategists.
- Foster a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement.
Education & Experience:
- 12 to 15 years of experience in business analysis, digital strategy, or transformation roles.
- Proven experience in renewable energy, power trading, or energy storage domains.
Domain & Technical Expertise:
- Deep understanding of power markets, regulatory frameworks, and energy technologies (BESS, hybrids, EV infra, hydrogen, GTAM).
- Experience in evaluating and implementing enterprise IT solutions and digital platforms.
- Familiarity with data science, data engineering, and agile methodologies.
Leadership & Communication:
- Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive strategic alignment with own team as well as customers.
- Excellent presentation, documentation, and decision-making capabilities.
Tools & Platforms:
- Experience with tools like Power BI, Tableau, JIRA, Confluence, and enterprise systems.
- Exposure to cloud platforms, data visualization, and digital workflow tools.
