Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Procurement & Sourcing:


- Manage end-to-end procurement processes including vendor identification, RFQ/RFP issuance, evaluation, negotiation, and finalization.

- Source materials, equipment, and services in line with project and operational requirements.

- Ensure timely availability of materials while maintaining optimal inventory levels.

Vendor & Contract Management:


- Develop and maintain a strong vendor base through continuous evaluation and performance monitoring.

- Lead price negotiations, contract finalization, and commercial discussions to achieve cost efficiency.

- Ensure contracts comply with company policies, legal requirements, and commercial terms.

Cost Control & Optimization:


- Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing and value engineering.

- Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supplier performance to mitigate procurement risks.

- Support budgeting and cost control initiatives for projects and operations.

Stakeholder Coordination:


- Collaborate with internal teams such as projects, engineering, finance, legal, and stores to align procurement activities with business needs.

- Act as a key point of contact for resolving procurement-related issues and escalations.

- Ensure clear communication and coordination between stakeholders and suppliers.

Compliance & Governance:


- Ensure adherence to procurement policies, SOPs, and ethical standards.

- Maintain accurate procurement documentation, MIS reports, and audit-ready records.

- Support internal and external audits by providing required procurement data and documentation.

Reporting & MIS:


- Prepare and present procurement MIS, spend analysis, vendor performance reports, and savings reports.

- Track KPIs related to cost, quality, delivery timelines, and supplier performance.

Professional & Technical Skills:

Must-Have Skills:


- Strong experience in procurement, sourcing, and vendor management

- Good knowledge of procurement processes, contracts, and commercial terms

- Strong negotiation and cost optimization skills

Functional & Soft Skills:


- Excellent coordination and stakeholder management abilities

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

- Effective communication and documentation skills
