Senior Manager - After Sales Ware house (Supply Chain)
Location : Chennai
Job Purpose:
Implementation of Aftersales Logistic Projects to optimize Overall Logistics Costs and Improve Business Deliverables/KPI's by ensuring a close liaison with Internal /Corporate Functions and External Parties viz. 3PL/Transporters.
Principle Accountabilities:
EXPECTED END RESULTS:
MAJOR ACTIVITIES:
- Identify Competitive Logistic Partners viz. Vendors, 3PL & Transporters
- Liaison with Purchase, Finance, Legal, Taxation, IS/IT
- HR, Real Estate, Safety/Security & Business
- Build an Efficient and Cost Optimal Logistic solution to meet Business Requirements viz. Warehouse/ Transport etc
- Capacity Planning for Inventory & Operations
- Define the Layout & MHE's requirement
- Planning of Project Phases & Milestones
- Detail Project Management schedule
- Periodic Progress Updates & Review with Stake Holders.
- Risk Assessment & Contingency Planning
- Identify and Build an End-to-End IT Solution for Logistics Operations
- Consolidate System Requirements
- Close collaboration with IS/IT Team & Developers for requirement readiness as per Milestones.
- Ensure Legal/Compliance/Approvals for smooth Supply Chain flows
- Coordinate closely with Finance, Tax and Consultants
- Ensure compliance related readiness inline with India regulations/framework

- Co-ordination with all Related stake holders, Good understanding of Project Mgmt and Techno-commercial
- Experience of WH Operations critical and Co-ordinations with Operations & IS/IT Team for Current systems, flows and process

Knowledge & Skills:
- Relevant Experience: 15-17 years with expertise & experience in implementing Greenfield Aftersales Warehouse/ Logistics end to end Project (Sr Manager profile)
- Experience in OEM Automotive Vertical (2W /4W) an advantage
- Desired Personal Traits: Good Negotiation skills, Team Player, Self -Motivated, Techno-Commercial understanding
- Impact (What is the level of empowerment/freedom that this role operates in & degree of influence it has on the end results)
- Critical role to ensure timely implementation of Renault Aftersales Warehouse project
- Optimise Logistic Costs and Efficient process to maximise Profitability and Turnover
