Roles & Responsibility: 1. Production Management: - Plan, organize, and oversee daily manufacturing operations to meet production targets and customer delivery schedules. - Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards are consistently met or exceeded. - Implement strategies to optimize production workflows, minimize waste, and reduce lead times. - Coordinate with department heads to allocate resources effectively and resolve production issues promptly. 2. Quality Assurance: - Develop and enforce quality control procedures to maintain the highest standards of craftsmanship and product integrity. - Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. - Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to implement design improvements and product enhancements based on customer feedback and market trends. 3. Inventory Management: - Oversee inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods to support production schedules and minimize stock outs. - Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels, reduce carrying costs, and improve inventory turnover. - Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely procurement of materials and components, negotiating favorable terms with suppliers when necessary. 4. Team Leadership: - Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team, providing coaching, training, and performance feedback to foster professional growth and teamwork. - Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and accountability within the operations team, encouraging proactive problem-solving and collaboration. - Promote a safe working environment by enforcing adherence to health and safety policies and procedures, conducting regular safety training, and addressing any safety concerns promptly. 5. Strategic Planning: - Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to support business growth and operational excellence. - Analyze key performance metrics and operational data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, making data-driven recommendations for process optimization and cost reduction. - Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in manufacturing operations to ensure the company remains competitive and innovative in the marketplace. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in operations management, engineering, business administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. - Proven experience 0-2 years in operations management within the manufacturing industry, preferably in the home interior or furniture sector.
