Job Description : Finance Analyst will work closely with a category business teams in creating a real and active partnership and support in creating actions plans to ensure that both short- and long-term strategic priorities and goals are met. Key Responsibilities/ outcomes : 1. Providing analysis and delivering insight that links financial reports to business strategies 2. Improving the impact, and understanding, of financial reporting on business performance 3. Building partnerships and strong relationships with all senior managers and their teams and providing financial support to commercial decision making 4. Delivering analysis and insight on business opportunities 5. Presenting financial performance, full year forecasts and budget variances including understanding financial opportunities and risk. Communicate performance throughout the organization to ensure one set of numbers rather than each function and management team making their own assumptions 6. Challenging current ways of working, driving efficiencies and cost savings wherever possible. 7. Assisting with year-end audit 8. Understanding the cost drivers of the business and providing insight to the non-finance members 9. Providing effective commercial procedures to ensure key operational, commercial and financial targets are delivered. 10. Drive preparation of annual operating plans and long term strategic plans along with category business teams. Candidate specifications and requirements: Qualification - Chartered Accountant Experience - Previous experience of working in FP&A/business finance - Previous experience of working in similar role in large business set-up. - Experience in dealing with both finance and non-finance leaders - Experience of bringing financial information together with Non-Financial information. - Experience in Project Management and dealing the project requirements. - Experience in working in complex financial environment. - Experience in handling small/large volume of data manipulate, analyse and present the findings to the relevant stakeholders in a clear and concise way. - Experience in handling various categories - general merchandising, Fashions, Digital, Grocery etc., - Total years of experience above 2-3 years + Knowledge: - Knowledge of general accounting principles - Savvy with technology and use intelligent tools to analyse financial and operational information. - Business Knowledge, insights on the business intricacies associated with various categories. - Use of SAP and other reporting tools. - Knowledge of legal requirement for ecommerce marketplace(GST, TCS, TDS & Nodal Account) Skills : - Excellent analytical and communication skills - Management of people effectively to produce the desire output. - Ability to plan and manage own workload to meet the deadlines. - Excellent presentation skills - Excellent negotiation skills to influence and challenge the business to ensure processes and activities are geared for maximum performance - Excellent inter-department working skills in order to achieving the business objective. - Ability to work quickly to high degree of accuracy. - Ability to maintain focus and drive to resolve issues. - Ability to form and stand over the opinion. - Ability to influence day to day decisions Others: - Self-Motivated - Able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines. - Organised & methodical - Team player who would like to share the knowledge and experience into the team. - Currently should be employed in E Commerce Marketplace - Current role should be in business finance.
