Reliance Nippon Life Insurance - Head - Section Planning & Monitoring

We are seeking an experienced and strategic professional to join our Planning & Monitoring department as Head of Section (HOS). This pivotal role is ideal for someone with a solid background in project planning across sectors like Highways, Metro, Buildings & Factories, Water, Transmission, etc., and who thrives in a leadership-driven, process-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise in Primavera, BI Reporting, and SAP.

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with the HoD in finalizing the departmental and annual budgets, including CAPEX planning.

- Support project initiation through effective kick-off process monitoring, ensuring strategic alignment and documentation.

- Supervise the preparation of WBS (Work Breakdown Structures), mobilization plans, and project budgets.

- Track project progress, perform variance analysis, and propose corrective actions.

- Oversee client billing and invoicing processes to ensure timely and accurate submissions.

- Coordinate periodic Quality Review Meetings (QRM) across departments to ensure quality deliverables.

- Assist in project closure planning and drive adherence to closure procedures.

- Collect, review, and analyze Daily Progress Reports (DPRs) and Management Information System (MIS) reports to identify insights and risk areas.

- Conduct project risk evaluations and lead the creation of mitigation strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

- Facilitate lessons learned sessions and documentation for process improvements.

- Maintain regular oversight of all ongoing projects through structured comparative analysis between actual performance and planned metrics.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- B.Tech (Civil) / M.Tech (Civil)

- Postgraduate qualification from NICMAR will be an added advantage

- 15 to 20 years of relevant experience in Planning & Monitoring roles in reputed construction/infrastructure firms
