Role Purpose:


The Sales Capability Manager Signature Channel is responsible for building and strengthening sales capability across the Signature Channel by educating and enabling the team on all RCPL categories. The role focuses on enhancing sales productivity, driving sales effectiveness, and developing a strong talent pipeline to achieve sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Capability Building

- Design and deliver training modules to enhance sales knowledge across all RCPL categories within the Signature Channel.

- Partner with business leaders to identify key focus areas for capability enhancement.

Drive Sales Productivity & Effectiveness

- Implement initiatives to improve sales performance metrics and frontline effectiveness.

- Support the sales team with tools, techniques, and best practices to maximize output.

Talent Development & Pipeline Building

- Identify high-potential talent and create structured development programs for career progression within the channel.

- Collaborate with HR and Sales leadership on succession planning.

Skill Gap Analysis & Intervention Design

- Conduct regular assessments to identify capability gaps.

- Design, deploy, and evaluate targeted interventions to close identified gaps.

Measurement & Reporting

- Track and measure the impact of training and capability interventions through defined metrics (e.g., productivity, sales effectiveness, learning scores).

- Publish monthly capability reports and outline next-month action plans to the business.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

- Improvement in sales productivity and effectiveness metrics

- Reduction in identified skill gaps over time

- Training participation and completion rates

- Impact score of interventions (e.g., knowledge uplift, sales behavior change)

- Timely submission of monthly reports and action plans

Qualifications & Experience:

- Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Business, Sales, or related field

- 5-8 years of experience in Sales Capability, Training, or Sales Management (FMCG or Consumer Goods preferred)

- Proven experience in designing and executing sales training and capability programs

Skills & Competencies:

- Strong understanding of sales processes and channel management

- Excellent facilitation and communication skills

- Data-driven approach with strong analytical and reporting ability

- Stakeholder management and collaboration skills

- Proficiency in MS Office and learning tools/platforms
