Role Overview:
- The Senior Insurance Manager will be responsible for scaling business by building and managing multiple insurance sales teams. This role requires strong people leadership, business ownership, and the ability to drive sustained growth through advisor productivity and team performance.
- The role focuses primarily on team creation, leadership, and performance management, supported by ongoing training and leadership guidance from senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, lead, and expand multiple teams of insurance advisors
- Drive business across Life Insurance, Health Insurance, Retirement Plans, and Investment Products
- Own business targets including premium growth, team productivity, and retention
- Mentor Insurance Managers and senior advisors
- Ensure strong advisor engagement, activation, and performance consistency
- Review sales performance, conduct regular team reviews, and implement corrective actions
- Ensure adherence to compliance, regulatory, and internal business guidelines
- Collaborate with training and leadership teams to strengthen team capability
Desired Skills & Experience:
- 5-8 years of experience in insurance, BFSI, or financial product sales
- Proven experience in team handling, advisor management, or branch-level sales leadership
Strong exposure to one or more of the following products:
a. Life Insurance
b. Mutual Funds
c. Health Insurance
d. Business Loans
e. Personal Loans
f. Credit Cards
g. Retirement & Investment Solutions
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong business acumen and ability to drive numbers through teams
- High energy, ownership mindset, and result-oriented approach
Education:
- Graduate in any discipline
- MBA or equivalent qualification preferred
