Role Overview
Reliance Nippon Life Insurance is hiring a Development Manager to strengthen and scale its Agency Distribution Channel. This role is responsible for recruiting, developing, and managing a high-performing team of Financial Advisors, driving life insurance sales, and ensuring consistent business growth through people-led execution.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on sales leader with strong advisor management experience, capable of building long-term relationships while achieving business targets in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities:Agency Recruitment & Development- Recruit, onboard, and activate Financial Advisors (FAs) as per defined productivity norms
- Build and sustain a strong, engaged, and productive advisor network
- Conduct regular training, coaching, and capability-building sessions for advisors
- Drive advisor retention and improve activation and productivity ratios
Sales & Business Growth- Drive life insurance sales through the agency channel
- Support advisors in achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual business targets
- Identify new customer segments and local market opportunities to expand the business
- Promote a balanced product mix across protection, savings, investment, and health plans
Performance & Compliance Management- Track individual and team performance through defined KPIs
- Provide regular feedback, performance reviews, and corrective action plans
- Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory norms, and compliance standards
Customer & Relationship Management- Support advisors in building and maintaining long-term client relationships
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, service quality, and persistency
- Resolve escalations and coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations

- Experience in B2B / channel sales and enterprise client handling is an advantage
Qualifications & Experience:- Graduate in any discipline; MBA preferred
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Life Insurance, BFSI, or Agency Sales
- Prior experience in advisor recruitment and agency channel management preferred
- Strong understanding of insurance products and financial planning concepts
