About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Principal Officer to lead client acquisition, investor relationship management, and distribution activities for a Category III Alternative Investment Fund (AIF) based in GIFT City. The role requires a strong blend of regulatory understanding, investment product knowledge, and front-end sales capabilities. The incumbent will be responsible for driving fundraising efforts, managing investor relationships, and ensuring compliance with applicable IFSCA regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Fund Raising:

- Drive capital raising and business development initiatives for Category III AIF products.

- Identify, acquire, and manage relationships with HNIs, UHNIs, Family Offices, Corporate Treasuries, Institutional Investors, and Wealth Intermediaries.

- Present investment strategies, fund performance, and market opportunities to prospective investors.

- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential investors and distribution partners.

- Achieve fundraising and revenue targets as defined by the organization.

Relationship Management:

- Act as the primary point of contact for investors and key stakeholders.

- Conduct regular portfolio reviews, investor meetings, and business updates.

- Develop long-term relationships to enhance investor retention and cross-selling opportunities.

- Address investor queries related to fund performance, market outlook, and investment strategies.

Regulatory & Principal Officer Responsibilities:

- Serve as the designated Principal Officer in compliance with IFSCA regulations.

- Ensure adherence to applicable regulatory, compliance, and governance requirements.

- Coordinate with compliance, operations, and fund management teams for investor onboarding and ongoing servicing.

- Support audits, regulatory filings, and inspections as required.

Stakeholder Management:

- Work closely with investment, compliance, operations, and legal teams to ensure seamless execution of investor transactions.

- Collaborate with global and regional teams to support strategic business initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.

- MBA/CFA/CA or relevant professional qualification preferred.

- 4+ years of experience in Wealth Management, Private Banking, Asset Management, AIF, PMS, Capital Markets, or Investment Advisory.

- Prior experience in fundraising, investor relations, or sales of investment products is mandatory.

- Strong understanding of Category III AIFs, capital markets, alternative investments, and regulatory frameworks.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Mandatory Requirements:

- Proven experience in raising capital and selling investment products to HNI/UHNI/Institutional clients.

- Strong understanding of Category III AIF products and alternative investment strategies.

- Ability to independently manage investor relationships and drive business growth.

- Eligible to be designated as Principal Officer under applicable IFSCA regulations.

Preferred Background:

- Experience with GIFT City entities, AIFs, PMS, hedge funds, private banking, wealth management firms, or global asset managers.

- Existing network of HNI/UHNI clients, family offices, wealth distributors, or institutional investors would be a strong advantage.
