We seek a Relationship Manager for a leading Wealth and Asset Management company based at Mumbai.


Role overview:


Our Relationship Manager is responsible for managing client relationships virtually, providing personalized financial solutions, and driving business growth through cross-selling and upselling of various investment products.


This role is ideal for candidates passionate about finance who excel in remote relationship management while driving business growth through strategic advisory services.


Note: We encourage Mumbai based candidates willing to work on-site to apply.


Qualifications:


- Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.


- 2-5 years of experience in relationship management or sales within the BFSI sector.


- Candidate should be from the Investment side of Financial Services domain from AMCs, Broking Firms, Securities Firms, Wealth Management Companies, FinTech.


- Certifications such as NISM V series (National Institute of Securities Markets) or CFP (Certified Financial Planner) are advantageous.


Key Skills:


1. Technical Proficiency:


a. b. Knowledge of investment products like mutual funds, insurance, PMS, etc. Familiarity with CRM tools and digital communication platforms (e.g., Zoom, Teams).


2. Sales Orientation:a. Strong ability to generate leads, convert prospects, and consistently meet

sales targets.


3. Communication Skills:


a. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (and local languages if required).


b. Ability to explain complex financial concepts in a simple manner.


4. Customer Focus:


a. A proactive approach to understanding client needs and offering customized solutions.


5. Analytical Thinking:


a. Ability to analyze market trends and client portfolios to make informed recommendations.


6. Team Collaboration:


a. Work effectively with internal departments like marketing, operations, and compliance to ensure holistic service delivery.


Key Responsibilities:


Premium service delivery to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.


2. Sales and Business Development:


a. Identify and acquire clients through existing databases.


b. Acquire new clients and build on the database.


c. Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell asset management products such as mutual funds, insurance, PMS (Portfolio Management Services), and structured products.


d. Achieve assigned revenue targets by generating fee income from investment and asset products.


e. Generate referrals from the existing client base to expand business opportunities.


3. Portfolio Management:


a. Manage and monitor client portfolios to ensure alignment with their financial goals.


b. Provide tailored investment advice based on market trends and client preferences.


4. Compliance and Reporting:


a. Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and internal policies during all interactions.


b. Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions using

CRM tools.


5. Customer Support:


a. Address client inquiries promptly, resolving issues efficiently to ensure a seamless experience.


b. Regularly update clients on market developments and the performance of

their portfolios.
