Relationship Manager MSME (Syndication & Advisory) - CA/MBA/CFA
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Relationship Manager with 6-8 years of proven expertise/experience in managing corporate relationships within the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) segment. The ideal candidate will drive business growth through syndication and advisory services, ensuring long-term client engagement and profitability. The candidate must have established corporate clientele relationships across India, enabling nationwide coverage and business development.
Upto 6-year work-ex - Senior Manager
6-8-year work ex - Assistant Vice President
Key Responsibilities: Client Relationship Management- Build and maintain strong relationships with MSME clients, understanding their financing and advisory needs.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring seamless service delivery.
- Provide strategic advisory services to clients on capital structuring, debt syndication, and financial planning.
Syndication & Advisory- Origination of deals should be primarily for syndication by structuring, negotiating, and executing financing solutions in collaboration with financial institutions.
Business Development- Acquire new MSME clients and expand existing business with existing relationships.
- Develop tailored solutions to meet client requirements, leveraging internal and external networks.
Market Intelligence- Track industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes impacting MSMEs.
- Provide insights to management for product innovation and strategy refinement.
Key Performance Indicators (KRAs)- Volume and value of syndication deals closed.
- Revenue per deal generated from advisory services.
- Number of clients introduced
- Repeat business/retainer cash flows ensured from client base
- Growth in MSME client base and relationship depth.
- Client satisfaction and retention metrics.
Qualifications & Experience:-
MBA/CA/CFA (or combination of them) or equivalent professional qualification.
- 6-8 years of experience in commercial/corporate/ MSME banking, syndication, or advisory roles, preferably with MSME exposure.
- Strong understanding and knowledge of debt markets - both RBI and SEBI regulated, structured finance, and MSME sector dynamics.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proven track record of managing complex client relationships and closing high-value deals.
