Job Summary:


We are hiring Relationship Managers Retail Agribusiness for a leading bank to manage and grow the agri and rural banking portfolio across multiple locations. The role focuses on acquiring new customers, managing existing relationships, and driving business growth in retail agribusiness segments including farmers, agri-entrepreneurs, and allied activities.


Key Responsibilities:


- Acquire and manage retail agribusiness customers such as farmers, agri traders, FPOs, dairy, poultry, fisheries, and allied agri activities


- Source and process agri loans including crop loans, tractor loans, farm mechanization, agri infrastructure, and allied products


- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure portfolio growth and retention


- Conduct field visits to understand customer needs, assess creditworthiness, and ensure proper end-use of funds


- Achieve assigned business targets for loans, deposits, cross-sell products, and fee-based income


- Ensure timely documentation, credit appraisal, and compliance with bank policies and regulatory guidelines


- Monitor portfolio quality, control delinquencies, and support recovery efforts when required


- Coordinate with internal teams such as credit, operations, and risk for smooth processing and disbursement


- Stay updated on government schemes, NABARD guidelines, and agri-related banking products


Eligibility Criteria:


- Minimum 2 years of experience in retail agribusiness / agri lending / rural banking


- Graduate in any discipline (Agriculture, Rural Management, or related fields preferred)


- Strong understanding of agri products, local markets, and rural customer behavior


- Good communication and relationship management skills


- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned geography

- Knowledge of agri & allied activities


- Target-oriented and result-driven mindset


- Local market knowledge is a strong advantage
