job summary:
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Private Banking Relationship Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of High Net-Worth Individuals (HNIs) and Ultra HNIs. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of wealth products, strong client relationship skills, and a consultative sales approach. The RM will be responsible for delivering customized wealth solutions, ensuring exceptional client service, and achieving revenue and asset growth targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
- Acquire, grow, and manage a portfolio of HNI/UHNI clients.
- Build strong and lasting client relationships through personalized service and proactive engagement.
- Conduct regular portfolio reviews and financial planning discussions with clients.
Wealth Advisory:
- Provide customized investment solutions across asset classes mutual funds, PMS, AIFs, bonds, structured products, insurance, and other financial instruments.
- Maintain updated knowledge of financial markets and wealth products to guide clients effectively.
- Comply with suitability and risk profiling norms as per regulatory guidelines.
Revenue & Portfolio Growth:
- Meet and exceed assigned targets in terms of AUM growth, revenue generation, and new client acquisition.
- Drive cross-sell of banking and third-party products including loans, insurance, and investments.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure full adherence to internal processes, regulatory and compliance standards.
- Maintain complete and updated documentation for all client interactions and investment decisions.
- Monitor client transactions to identify suspicious activity and ensure compliance with KYC/AML norms.
Team Collaboration & Leadership:
- Work closely with internal stakeholders product teams, operations, legal, and compliance to deliver a seamless client experience.
- Mentor junior RMs or support staff where applicable.
Key Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in Private Banking / Wealth Management, with a strong client base and consistent performance history.
Education: Graduate (mandatory); MBA/PGDM or CFP/CFA preferred.
Product Knowledge: Strong knowledge of wealth management products Mutual Funds, PMS, AIFs, Bonds, Insurance, Structured Products, etc.
Certifications: AMFI / NISM certifications (as applicable) must be up to date.
