
Job Title: Relationship Manager - Mid Market Group (MMG)

About the Role:
- We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Relationship Manager - Mid Market Group (MMG) for our Business Banking Group at Mumbai and Pune locations. The incumbent will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of mid-sized corporate clients, driving revenue across lending and liability products, and delivering comprehensive financial solutions tailored to client needs.
- This role requires strong credit acumen, client relationship skills, and a deep understanding of the mid-market ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Relationship Management:
- Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of Mid-Market clients (typically turnover range as defined by bank policy).
- Develop strong CXO-level relationships (Promoters, CFOs, Finance Heads).
- Act as a single point of contact for all banking requirements.
- Ensure high customer engagement and retention levels.
2. Business Development:
- Acquire new-to-bank (NTB) mid-market clients in the assigned geography.
Drive revenue growth through cross-sell of:
- Working Capital (CC/OD)
- Term Loans
- Trade Finance
- Forex Solutions
- Cash Management Services (CMS)
- Liability Products
- Achieve annual budgets for assets, liabilities, fee income, and cross-sell targets.
3. Credit & Risk Management:
- Conduct detailed financial analysis including ratio analysis, CMA data, cash flow assessment, and industry evaluation.
- Prepare credit proposals and coordinate with credit and risk teams for sanction and disbursement.
- Monitor portfolio health, early warning signals, and ensure minimal delinquencies.
- Ensure adherence to internal credit policies and regulatory guidelines.
4. Portfolio Monitoring:
- Regular client reviews and annual renewal processing.
- Track covenant compliance and stock statement reviews.
- Maintain portfolio quality with low NPAs and controlled risk metrics.
5. Market Intelligence:
- Track industry trends, competitor activities, and local market dynamics in Mumbai and Pune.
- Identify emerging sectors and growth opportunities within the Mid-Market segment.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in Business Banking / Corporate Banking / Mid-Market segment.
- Strong exposure to credit underwriting and relationship management.
- Proven track record in NTB acquisition and portfolio growth.
- Good understanding of financial statements and credit risk assessment.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Educational Qualification:
