Job Summary:
The Manager - Corporate Banking will be responsible for driving business acquisition and managing existing corporate client relationships for the Pune branch. The role involves end-to-end relationship management, credit assessment, business development, and coordination with internal stakeholders to deliver comprehensive banking solutions to mid and large corporate clients. Customer service excellence and portfolio quality will be key focus areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development & Relationship Management
- Acquire new corporate banking relationships for the Pune branch.
- Manage and grow the existing portfolio of mid and large corporate clients.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with corporate customers.
- Act as the single point of contact for corporate banking clients.
- Initiate and close corporate tie-ups for corporate relationships.
Experience & Skill Requirements:
- Proven experience handling mid to large corporate clients.
- Strong exposure to working capital, term loans, trade finance, LCBD, ECB, and PCFC.
- Sound knowledge of corporate banking operations, credit processes, and regulatory guidelines.
- Ability to independently build and manage a client book with minimal supervision.
- Strong financial analysis, forecasting, and financial modelling skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Graduation in any discipline.
- MBA in Banking & Finance / Marketing preferred.
- 5-10 years of experience in Corporate Banking with major banks
Location Preference
Candidates should be based in Pune or nearby locations, or be willing to relocate to Pune.
