About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Relationship Manager Government Banking to manage and grow relationships with government departments, PSUs, autonomous bodies, and related institutions. The role involves business development, relationship management, and coordination with internal teams to deliver comprehensive banking solutions. Candidates from a TASC (Trade & Supply Chain / Transaction Banking) background are also encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and manage relationships with Government departments, PSUs, statutory bodies, and allied institutions.

- Identify business opportunities for deposits, transaction banking, CMS, TASC products, and other banking solutions.

- Drive CASA, term deposits, and fee-based income from assigned government and institutional clients.

- Act as a single point of contact for clients, ensuring timely service delivery and issue resolution.

- Coordinate with internal teams such as operations, credit, trade finance, and product teams to deliver customized solutions.

- Ensure compliance with bank policies, regulatory guidelines, and KYC/AML norms.

- Prepare business proposals, presentations, and periodic MIS for management review.

- Monitor account performance, renewals, and risk parameters.

Eligibility / Qualifications:

- Graduate/Postgraduate in Finance, Banking, Management, or a related field.

- 3-8 years of experience in Government Banking, Institutional Banking, or TASC/Transaction Banking.

- Strong understanding of government business, tender processes, and institutional banking products.

- Proven relationship management and business development skills.

- Good communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.

- Experience in CMS, Trade Finance, TASC, or Government-related accounts will be an added advantage.
