Job Summary:
The role involves building and managing relationships with Family Offices and Proprietary (Prop) Funds based in DIFC and ADGM for facilitating investments into India (Equity, Mutual Funds, Derivatives, Debt, AIFs, and unlisted opportunities) through the FPI and FDI routes, as well as enabling global investment opportunities (listed and unlisted). The role requires a strong understanding of cross-border regulations and the ability to structure investment solutions aligned with client requirements.
Location: Dubai (DIFC)
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop and maintain relationships with Family Offices and Prop Funds across DIFC and ADGM, along with key ecosystem participants such as private banks, advisors, and service providers.
- Identify and onboard clients seeking exposure to India and global markets across asset classes including equity, debt, mutual funds, AIFs, and private/unlisted investments.
- Drive business development by prospecting, generating, and converting leads within the family office and prop fund segment.
- Manage and grow existing client relationships, ensuring high levels of engagement and retention.
- Achieve sales targets across products and services while maintaining a client-focused approach.
- Prepare and execute annual business plans, budgets, and growth strategies.
- Maintain a strong understanding of regulatory frameworks (FPI, FDI, and global jurisdictions) and translate these into actionable investment solutions.
- Provide insights on market trends, competitor offerings, and client feedback to support product development and enhancement.
- Travel regularly within Dubai and to Abu Dhabi (ADGM) for client meetings and relationship management.
Qualifications:
- MBA from reputed institute.
- 3-5 years of experience in sales or relationship management, preferably covering Family Offices, Prop Funds, or institutional clients.
- Strong understanding of financial products across public and private markets.
- Familiarity with cross-border investment regulations (FPI/FDI preferred).
- Ability to structure solutions and respond efficiently to client needs.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong relationship-building capabilities with a professional and approachable demeanor.
