Role Overview:

- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our Financial Institutions Group (FIG) team in Mumbai. This role involves managing and growing relationships with a portfolio of financial institutions, including banks, private banks, commercial banks, and investment banks. The individual will be responsible for understanding their clients' needs, providing tailored financial solutions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

- This role collaborates closely with internal teams across Treasury, Trade Finance, and other relevant departments to deliver exceptional service and drive revenue growth. The successful candidate will play a critical role in expanding our market presence and strengthening our relationships within the financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at financial institutions to understand their strategic objectives and financial needs.

- Originate and execute transactions across a range of products and services, including treasury solutions, trade finance, and investment banking products, to meet client requirements.

- Conduct thorough due diligence and risk assessments on financial institutions to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.

- Collaborate with internal teams, including credit, legal, and compliance, to structure and execute transactions effectively and efficiently.

- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.

- Prepare and present proposals, pitch books, and other marketing materials to clients to showcase our capabilities and value proposition.

- Ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies to mitigate risks and maintain the highest standards of ethical conduct.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, coupled with excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Deep understanding of financial markets, banking products, and regulatory frameworks, particularly related to Treasury, Trade Finance, and Compliance.

- Proven track record in originating and executing transactions across various financial products, including experience in Private Banking, Commercial Banking, and Investment Banking.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risk and make informed decisions.

- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.

- Minimum 7-15 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry, with a focus on financial institutions.
