About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Relationship Manager to manage Mid-Corporate clients and drive lending business growth. The ideal candidate will have strong exposure to corporate credit solutions, financial analysis, client relationship management, and business development across emerging markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of Mid-Corporate clients with lending requirements up to 100 Cr, delivering tailored working capital and term-financing solutions.
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, including credit assessment, risk profiling, and funding gap evaluation to design suitable lending proposals.
- Drive client acquisition and revenue growth by positioning lending products such as Term Loans, WCDL, Invoice Finance/SID, PID, and other structured facilities.
- Leverage cross-selling opportunities through collaboration with internal product teams and external channel partners.
- Maintain strong client relationships to ensure high retention, timely renewals, and seamless service delivery.
- Generate business leads, evaluate market opportunities, and build a robust pipeline for corporate lending products.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, regulatory guidelines, and credit norms to ensure compliant and competitive solutions.
- Prepare and present credit proposals for internal credit committees, ensuring accuracy and adherence to risk policies.
- Coordinate with credit, operations, legal, and compliance teams to ensure smooth onboarding, documentation, and disbursement processes.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of corporate lending productsWCDL, Term Loans, Invoice Finance, SID, PID, and structured solutions.
- Expertise in financial statement analysis, credit appraisal, ratio analysis, and cash-flow assessment.
- Proven experience in client relationship management with Mid-Corporate or SME clients.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to identify business opportunities and convert leads into revenue.
- Sound understanding of banking regulations, RBI guidelines, credit policies, and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, financial modeling, and preparing credit memos/proposals.
Qualifications:
- MBA/PGDM in Finance, CA, or equivalent qualification preferred.
- 4-8 years of experience in Corporate Lending, Mid-Corporate Banking, SME Lending, or related credit roles.
- Experience working with banks, NBFCs, or financial institutions is highly desirable.
