- We are seeking a highly capable Relationship Manager to accelerate mutual fund distribution through the Independent Financial Advisor (IFA) channel.
- The role demands deep exposure to Asset Management Company (AMC) operations, strong channel expansion capabilities, and the ability to drive sustainable AUM growth across assigned territories.
- The ideal candidate should bring a blend of sales excellence, product expertise, partner management, and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Channel Development & Partner Management:
- Build, onboard, and nurture long-term relationships with IFAs, RIAs, and emerging distributor networks across the assigned geography.
- Develop territory expansion strategies to increase market penetration and unlock new distribution opportunities.
- Conduct regular partner engagement visits to strengthen productivity, wallet share, and retention.
Sales Growth & AUM Expansion:
- Drive sales of mutual fund schemes including equity, debt, hybrid, index, and solution-oriented products.
- Execute SIP acquisition campaigns, product push initiatives, and quarterly business targets across the IFA ecosystem.
- Design and implement structured sales plans, conversion funnels, and channel performance dashboards for AUM growth.
Training, Advisory & Capability Building:
- Conduct detailed product trainings, distributor education sessions, and financial literacy workshops tailored for the IFA community.
- Enable partners with product insights, market outlooks, portfolio positioning frameworks, and investor engagement strategies.
- Use data-driven advisory models and analytical tools to drive higher-quality investor recommendations.
Business Intelligence, Reporting & Analytics:
- Track and analyse KPIs including AUM, SIP book, activation ratios, sales velocity, and territory contribution.
- Conduct structured competitor benchmarking, market mapping, segment profiling, and demand forecasting.
- Present weekly and monthly performance reports to leadership with actionable insights, gaps, and territory risks.
Governance, Compliance & Operational Excellence:
- Ensure full adherence to SEBI, AMFI, and AMC internal compliance standards.
- Maintain error-free documentation, partner records, and due-diligence processes across all sales operations.
- Collaborate with internal teams (product, marketing, compliance, operations) to streamline partner experience and reduce turnaround time.
Required Skills:
- Mandatory prior experience working in an Asset Management Company (AMC).
- Strong expertise in channel sales with proven success in managing IFA-driven distribution networks.
- Deep understanding of mutual fund domains including product categories, NAV dynamics, AUM drivers, portfolio structures, and distributor incentive models.
