Role Purpose:

To manage and grow relationships with stock brokers, trading members, market intermediaries and other capital market clients, while driving revenue, asset growth and quality credit exposure across fund-based and non-fund-based facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and deepen relationships with capital market clients, particularly stock brokers, trading members and financial market intermediaries.

- Drive business development across Fund-Based (FB) and Non-Fund-Based (NFB) credit facilities, including:

1. Working Capital / Overdraft facilities

2. Bank Guarantees

3. Letter of Credit and other structured facilities

4. Other capital-market-specific funding requirements

- Prepare and coordinate Credit Appraisal Memorandum (CAM) for new and existing capital market clients, including facility structuring, assessment of risks, proposed limits and mitigants.

- Conduct detailed balance-sheet and financial analysis of brokers, including profitability, net worth, leverage, liquidity, capital adequacy, borrowing profile, contingent liabilities and quality of assets.

- Evaluate the client's business model, trading volumes, market position, exchange exposure and regulatory framework to assess creditworthiness.

- Coordinate with Credit, Risk, Legal, Operations and Product teams for timely sanction and implementation of facilities.

- Monitor utilisation of sanctioned limits, financial covenants, collateral/security and overall account conduct.

- Identify cross-sell opportunities across transaction banking, cash management, custody, capital market products and other banking solutions.

- Keep abreast of latest SEBI, RBI, NSE, BSE, clearing corporation and other regulatory circulars/guidelines impacting brokers and capital market clients.

- Assess the impact of regulatory changes on existing and proposed credit facilities and proactively communicate the same internally and to clients.

- Track industry trends, competitive developments and changes in the capital market ecosystem.

- Ensure timely completion of annual reviews, renewals, ratings, documentation and compliance requirements.

- Maintain high standards of portfolio quality and ensure early identification and mitigation of potential credit risks.

- Achieve assigned business, revenue, profitability and portfolio growth targets.
