Role Overview:
- The Relationship Manager (RM) will be responsible for acquiring, managing, and growing relationships with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and emerging corporates.
- The RM will deliver customized financial solutions, ensure portfolio profitability, and maintain high service standards while adhering to risk and compliance guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development:
- Acquire new clients for business banking through direct sourcing, referrals, and market intelligence.
- Identify potential business opportunities and structure appropriate financial solutions.
- Achieve business targets across liabilities, assets, and revenue products.
2. Relationship Management:
- Manage and deepen existing client relationships to increase wallet share and cross-sell opportunities.
- Provide clients with tailored banking solutions including working capital, term loans, trade finance, and treasury products.
- Maintain regular client engagement to ensure satisfaction and timely resolution of issues.
3. Credit & Risk Management:
- Conduct detailed financial analysis and credit assessment of clients.
- Prepare and present credit proposals in line with internal policies and risk appetite.
- Monitor portfolio quality and proactively manage early warning signals.
4. Coordination & Compliance:
- Work closely with credit, operations, and product teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Ensure all transactions comply with internal policies, regulatory, and KYC/AML norms.
