About the Role

Rekhta Foundation is seeking an experienced and strategic Fundraising Lead to drive our fundraising initiatives, build long-term donor relationships, and secure sustainable funding. This role is ideal for a dynamic individual with a strong network in the philanthropic ecosystem and a proven track record in securing high-value partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Fundraising Strategy:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy aligned with the Foundation's mission and growth plans.

Donor Engagement & Relationship Building:

- Cultivate, nurture, and manage relationships with high-net-worth individuals (HNIs), philanthropic families, CSR leaders, and grant-making foundations.

Proposal Development:

- Collaborate with program and communications teams to craft compelling proposals and impact reports tailored to potential and existing donors.

Donor Stewardship:

- Design and lead donor engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and transparent reporting processes to ensure long-term partnerships.

Market Intelligence & Forecasting:

- Monitor fundraising trends, funding forecasts, and industry developments to identify new opportunities and adapt strategies accordingly.

Team Leadership:

- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing fundraising team, ensuring clarity of roles, accountability, and performance excellence.

Representation & Advocacy:

- Represent Rekhta Foundation at donor meetings, philanthropic forums, CSR roundtables, and sectoral events to enhance visibility and credibility.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Minimum 8 years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, partnerships, or business development in the development/non-profit sector.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated success in securing large-scale donations or grants.

- Excellent proposal writing, presentation, and negotiation abilities.

- A well-established network within the Indian philanthropic ecosystem is highly desirable.

- Leadership experience in managing teams and cross-functional collaborations.
