Key Responsibilities:

Regulatory Compliance:


- Ensure all wind energy projects meet Gujarat state and central government regulatory requirements.

- Stay updated on policies, guidelines, and incentives, such as the Electricity Act, Renewable Energy Tariff Orders, and Grid Codes.

Government Liaison:

- Coordinate with Gujarat Electricity Regulatory Commission (GERC) for tariff orders, policy compliance, and regulatory filings.

- Liaise with the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) and Gujarat Energy Development Agency (GEDA) for project approvals, incentives, and certifications.

- Work closely with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) for power purchase agreements (PPAs) and related negotiations.

- Interact with the Central Electricity Authority (CEA) and State Load Dispatch Centre (SLDC) for grid interconnection and operational approvals.

- Engage with the Gujarat State Transmission Utility (GETCO) for transmission and evacuation infrastructure permissions.

- Manage compliance and approval processes with the Chief Electrical Inspector to Government (CEIG), ensuring adherence to electrical safety regulations and securing energization certificates.

Policy Advocacy and Updates:

- Monitor and analyze changes in regulatory policies affecting wind energy projects.

- Provide actionable insights to the internal teams and senior management based on policy updates.

Documentation and Reporting:

- Prepare and submit required documentation to authorities, including grid connectivity approvals, environmental clearances, and CEIG safety compliance reports.

- Ensure timely submission of proposals, applications, and compliance reports.
Stakeholder Coordination:

- Collaborate with internal project teams to align regulatory timelines with project schedules.

- Represent the company in hearings, meetings, and negotiations with government departments and regulatory bodies.
