Regulatory Manager - NBFC - CA

Role & responsibilities :

- Lead and supervise the day-to-day regulatory compliance (applying for licenses with the RBI, regular compliance filings with the RBI) and advisory assignments.

- Accountable for the entire assignment such as timely delivery, quality of the deliverable, etc.

- Expected to build positive client relationships and demonstrate understanding of the clients requirements and business.

- Qualities of leadership, as the person will be responsible for allocation of work within the team, performance of the team, identification of training and development needs within the team.

- Supervise effectively junior team members and take responsibility for reviewing their work

- Assist senior members of the team on prospective client pursuits.

- Proactively identify new areas where the Firm can leverage with the existing client.

- Review of regulatory applications e.g. NBFCs, Banking Applications, etc.

- Be up to date on developments in regulatory space NBFC, Bank Regulations, etc.

- Take a major role in sharing knowledge and supporting the development of team members.

Preferred candidate profile :

- Good Communication/presentation skills

- Possess good analytical skills and the ability to learn and succeed in a fast-paced environment

- Strong knowledge in and working knowledge in Banking/NBFC Regulations, etc.

- Delivery of multiple engagements with quality standards and as per the agreed timelines

- Good people and client management skills

- Excellent communication skills with an ability to interact with all levels across the organization.

Qualifications : Qualified CA

Experience :

- 5-7 years or above of work experience in Banking and NBFC regulatory matters.

- Candidate should from NBFC and Consulting background with RBI Regulatory, SEBI Regulatory experience
