Regulatory/External Reporting Manager - Banking/FinTech - CA

Description:

We are looking for a Chartered Accountant (CA) with 6 to 10 years of experience in financial accounting, regulatory compliance, and related party reporting. The role will be responsible for ensuring accurate accounting, consolidation, and statutory reporting of related party transactions in line with applicable regulatory frameworks, circulars, and disclosure requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Regulatory & Compliance Reporting:

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, frameworks, circulars, and reporting guidelines issued by relevant authorities.

- Prepare and review disclosures relating to related party transactions for statutory, regulatory, and management reporting.

- Monitor changes in regulations and assess their impact on accounting and reporting processes.

Related Party Transactions (RPT):

- Oversee identification, accounting, and consolidation of related party transactions across entities.

- Ensure proper documentation, reconciliation, and reporting of RPTs.

- Coordinate with business teams to track and validate inter-company and related party balances.

Controls, Audit & Governance:

- Support internal and statutory audits with respect to accounting and RPT disclosures.

- Strengthen internal controls around related party reporting and regulatory compliance.

- Liaise with auditors, advisors, and internal stakeholders to resolve reporting and compliance matters.

Accounting & Financial Reporting:

- Manage end-to-end accounting activities with a focus on accuracy, completeness, and compliance.

- Ensure timely preparation and review of financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.

Candidate Profile:

Qualifications & Experience:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).

- 6-10 years of post-qualification experience in accounting, financial reporting, and related party reporting.

- Prior experience in regulated environments (listed entities, large corporates, financial services, or MNCs) preferred.

Technical Skills:

- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory disclosure requirements.

- Hands-on experience with related party transaction consolidation and reporting.

- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks, circulars, and compliance guidelines.
