I. OVERVIEW


Job Title: Regional Supply Chain Manager


Department: Regional Operations


Direct Superior: Regional Operations Director


Location: Mumbai , India


II. MISSION


Defines and implements the structural Vision, Mission and Strategy of the Market Supply Chain on its Journey to SC Operational Excellence. He/she supports the future growth and value creation of Puratos in the region.


This includes strategy and design, tactical and resource planning, operational execution across the areas of IBP, Planning, physical logistics, customer service and collaboration.


Your role is to drive the continuing fit for purpose in the end-to-end Supply Chain to, from and within the countries of the region. You lead the ongoing optimization of the Supply Chain Cost and Working capital triangle while providing excellent service to our customers (internal, but more specifically external).


You will guide the region in installing effective S&OP processes in line with the Group Integrated Business Planning model linked with SAP IBP where installed, but also in countries without SAP.


You will guide, coach and support the Supply Chain teams across the region in identifying focus areas for improvement. You will also identify where Supply Chain competences are required but not yet in place, and develop, propose and implement plans to address this in a pragmatic way in line with Group strategy. As the OpX approach evolves, this role will progressively dovetail into it.


III. KEY TASKS


A. Manage and structurally improve the regional end to end Supply Chain design and performance

C. Develop the Supply Chain organization, talent pipeline and competences


IV. COMPETENCIES / PROFILE


A. Profile and Functional skills


Academic degree preferably in supply chain, engineering or MBA or equivalent through experience


Significant experience in all aspects of Supply Chain management, particularly Logistics & Warehousing, Sales & Operations Planning, MRP/ERP especially SAP. Ideally experience of multi-country Supply Chain management, international scope with regional or global dimension


Knowledge of and experience in using LEAN principles are an advantage

- Ability to challenge the status quo whilst remaining pragmatic


- Drive to find new solutions to open problems especially where nothing exists in the Group today


Communication and flexibility:


- Fluent in English


- Able to adapt approach to other cultures


- Accept regional travelling (up to 50% of the time)
