Ecommerce Business | Innerwear

Location: Multiple locations - PAN India

Reporting To: Business Head / National Ecommerce Head

Role Type: Full-time | Ecommerce & Digital Commerce

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for sharp, data-driven Ecommerce Regional Heads and State Heads to own and grow the online business for a leading Innerwear brand across key marketplaces and D2C channels.

This role sits at the intersection of category management, digital marketing, and commercial operations - and demands deep familiarity with how Innerwear performs and scales online.

The right candidate will have hands-on experience managing Innerwear on platforms like Myntra, Nykaa, Amazon, and Flipkart, and a strong grasp of what drives growth in the online Intimate Apparel category - from listing quality and sizing guides to influencer seeding and returns management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Ecommerce Revenue & Growth

- Own the ecommerce revenue targets for the assigned region - across all marketplace and D2C channels

- Drive topline growth while maintaining healthy online margins and managing returns/RTO rates

- Build monthly and quarterly ecommerce sales plans and ensure disciplined execution

Marketplace Management

- Manage key accounts on Myntra, Nykaa, Amazon, Flipkart, and other relevant platforms for the assigned region / category

- Ensure strong catalogue hygiene - optimized listings, accurate size charts, high-quality imagery, and rich A+ content

- Plan and execute promotional calendars, sale events (End of Season Sale, Big Billion Day, etc.), and platform-specific campaigns

- Negotiate visibility, banner placements, and promotional slots with marketplace account managers

D2C & Brand.com

- Support growth of the brand's own website and app - traffic, conversion, and repeat purchase rates

- Coordinate with the performance marketing team on paid campaigns, SEO, and retention strategies

- Manage returns, NPS, and customer experience metrics for the D2C channel

Data, Analytics & Reporting

- Track ecommerce dashboards daily - GMV, conversion rates, ROAS, share of search, returns, and ratings

- Use platform analytics and tools (Myntra Partner Portal, Amazon Seller Central, etc.) to extract actionable insights

- Share regular performance reports and growth recommendations with the leadership team

Cross-functional Coordination

- Work closely with supply chain to ensure adequate inventory planning for online demand and sale spikes

- Partner with content and creative teams to ensure platform-ready assets are available on time

- Coordinate with offline sales teams to prevent channel conflict and maintain pricing discipline

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Mandatory Requirements

- 3-10 years of ecommerce experience, with meaningful experience in the Innerwear / Lingerie / Intimate Apparel category

- Candidates without Innerwear category experience will not be considered

- Must have directly managed one or more of: Myntra, Nykaa, Amazon Fashion, Flipkart Fashion for an Innerwear brand

- Demonstrated track record of growing online GMV and improving marketplace rankings

Skills & Competencies

- Strong commercial acumen - understanding of online P&L, margins, discounts, and returns economics

- Hands-on experience with marketplace tools - Seller Central, Myntra Partner Portal, Nykaa Seller Panel

- Working knowledge of performance marketing - Meta Ads, Google Ads, marketplace-sponsored listings

- Data fluency - comfortable with Excel, dashboards, and platform analytics tools

- Strong coordination and communication skills to work across internal teams and external partners

- Ability to manage multiple platforms and campaigns simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Background

- Experience with both marketplace-led and D2C ecommerce models preferred

- Exposure to Innerwear-specific online challenges - sizing, returns, fit guides, and consumer education - is a strong plus

- Graduate / MBA in Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred
