Role Purpose:

With this new created position, the objective is establish and office in South, either in AP or Karnataka, depending upon the candidate location.

The Regional Sales Manager - South will be responsible for driving business growth across the South India region by developing strong relationships with MEP consultants, EPC contractors, facility owners, and OEM partners, while leading regional sales operations for Waves Aircon's air handling and ventilation solutions.

The role demands a blend of technical HVAC understanding, design-oriented consultative selling, regional team leadership, and large-project deal management, ensuring profitable growth and long-term customer partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

Regional Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth:

- Own and deliver regional sales targets for AHUs, ventilation systems, ducts, coils, scrubbers, Industrial Fans and turnkey air management solutions.

- Develop and execute a region-specific sales strategy aligned with market demand, industry segments, and consultant networks.

- Drive penetration into commercial, industrial, pharma, data center, hospital, and large infrastructure projects.

Consultant & Key Account Engagement:

- Build and sustain strong relationships with MEP consultants, HVAC designers, PMC firms, EPC Contractors and facility operators.

- Actively participate in the technology evaluation and specification stage to influence product selection.

- Position Waves Aircon solutions based on energy efficiency, compliance, lifecycle cost, and ROI.

Turnkey Project & Solution Selling:

- Lead sales for design-led and turnkey HVAC projects, coordinating with internal engineering, R&D, service, and production teams.

- Ensure seamless handover from sales to execution, aligning customer expectations with technical feasibility.

- Support pre-bid technical discussions, BOQs, and commercial negotiations for large projects.

Regional Team & Branch Management:

- Lead, mentor, and develop the regional sales team and branch operations.

- Set KPIs, review pipeline health, forecast accurately, and drive disciplined CRM usage.

- Build a high-performance, technically strong sales culture across the region.

Market Intelligence & Business Development:

- Track competitor activity, market pricing trends, and upcoming projects.

- Identify new channel partners, EPC alliances, and strategic accounts.

- Provide market feedback to management on product improvements and new opportunities.
